If you get a chance to see The Joffrey Ballet’s rendition of The Green Table (celebrating its 80th anniversary), I highly recommend it as the anti-war masterpiece is as relevant as it ever. First created in 1932, the work – about life, about death, about the psychological ramifications of a society in strife and terror – unfortunately is as of the times as when the company first performed it in the 60s.
